I'm sort of confused what's going on/how it will work but it could be interesting.

Yes, it is happening. After THREE preliminary tests, the 3rd Annual Government Simulation is back and better than ever. Sadly, most of my attempts to increase membership failed BIG TIME. BUT: we have at least enough to start a gov't sim at Minimal Level, which won't be as much fun and not very complex, but thanks to Dohn, Max, and Casey, we have everything prepared if we get more members!

So RECRUIT! And don't stop, I have simulations tested for every type of sim populace from 8 person sims to 60, yes 60 people. Not that those levels will ever come into play.

So first things first, this sim has some new features:
1. States- Everyone will get a state and a district; however, at this time, we don't have enough people to divide districts. Eventually, states will get Governors.
2. Committees- These were in the last gov't sim, but they are back and more important.

There are some old features that we want to make more significant:
1. SUE DAMN IT!
2. Pork is okay, they do it in the real gov't

So basically we have three states that you can choose to live in. Casey has proposed Mandaloria where ties mean DUEL time! Max has proposed Americaland, where he guarantees everything is like they do it in America with a shitload of referendums. And Dohn has gone with the totally unoriginal Texas.

Everyone, except those three are to post their top two choices for which state they want. If one state becomes overly popular I will take the person with the most cookies.

You have ONE WEEK more details will come as we approach the launch date (which is not yet decided)

Three things.

1. Does this take place in America? Because I don't remember those two states. And if it doesn't, can we make a constitution?

2. Dohn, why would you pick Texas? Out of all 50 states...

3. I pick Mandaloria first and Americaland second.

We are doing the US, we chose other states as to NOT have prior biases, etc. about these states. In the next few days, the state organizers will meet with their states to decide what major industries will be, etc.

I'll join in if that's cool. And if I were picking I'd say Americaland is the best because it has America in the name, and Mandaloria is second best because it is not, and never has been, Texas.

So we are now waiting on Janeway and Rubin. Rubin by far has the highest amount of cookies and will get his pick first, EXCEPT there is the rule I just made up that the last person to post gets whatever is left

Can we finally forget the SIC? I mean, it was hilarious the first time, but, IMO, it has since gotten old.

IMO the SIC never has nor does it now exist.

The SIC is allowed to exist ON THE CONDITION that they do not RUIN the purpose of the simulation

Oh and in addition, due to the limited number of people in the sim at the beginning, the arrest of any member *cough* is strictly prohibited
