New Congress

Due to the limited numbers and promises, etc. the following Congress will be serving this term starting Monday. LUKE (EPP) make the changes, please.

The President Pro Tempore of the Senate will be the Honorable His Holiness Senator Doctor Lucas F. Epp, PhD of Mandaloria
The Senior Senator will be Max S. Lustig of Americaland
The Junior Senator will be Andrew C. Hanna of Texas

The Speaker of the House will be Ryan N. Dohn of Texas
The Senior Representative will be Alexandra J. Clifton of Mandaloria
The Junior Representative will be Samantha Frank of Americaland

As it is the beginning of a new year, I wish to remind you of my initial goals upon taking office.

I outlined 5 key areas of legislative interest, Health Care, Repealing No Child Left Behind, the legalization of marijuana, environmental protection through the use of tax incentives in business, and civil unions for same-sex couples. Through 2 years we have been able to complete 3 of these goals.

Health Care and environmental tax adjustments are still on the table. I also believe that the Congress should re-submit their late term abortion ban with clearer language and develop a plan for the impending energy crisis - hopefully one which explores the options of nuclear power.
