Resignation

I feel compelled to resign as VP of the United States. What I did (or allowed myself to do) was wrong; I should have had faith in the President and Chief Justice because of their actions in crisis and not have allowed myself to be talked into impeaching them. I'm sorry for any anger my actions have caused. Truly, a dishonest girl like me does not deserve such a high office. I wanted to be honest but it didn't work. I am truly sorry.

I request that Ms. Clifton withdraws her resignation and returns to her post as Vice President.

The last year has been a mess of distrust, backstabbing, and war. At this point I feel it is best to forgive ourselves our mistakes and focus instead on the driving force behind these abominations to liberty and justice - Drew. It was truly Drew that ordered the impeachments, just as it was Drew who was behind the acquittal of myself and the conviction of Justice Gordon, and we cannot blame the VP or Congress for what happened in either case. Indeed, we must now even question if it was possibly Drew who was responsible for the original arrests of Senators Lustig and Dohn so that he could chair more committees and have greater seniority in his branch. Investigations will be made.

We all (except Justice Gordon) fell victim to his lies and manipulations, and allowed him to assume powers he should not have been allowed. Now we need to go back and make things right.

I seek to return our Government to the way it was pre-war, with the exception of Poofter Hanna's seat in the FannyWagon, and so along with Justice Gordon's return to the Court I urge Ms. Clifton to return to the post of Vice President.

I would like to continue being VP, if both President Wachob and all the Poofters are okay. I feel like this entire situation has been unfair to all of us and I would also like to return the government to its pre-war state. I promise I shall not stand for corruption again, as I have learned my lesson.

As I am a conflict of interest in the voting on Vice President Clifton I shall be resigning my seat in Congress effective tomorrow. Good luck to Congress and I hope that they look upon me in a better light that I have been portrayed. Look for my memoir in the next few weeks.
