I DEMAND A REVOTE
I already posted this but...
I find it interesting that the new member, matt20, last logged on at 8:49 yesterday... exactly 45 minutes after this topic was made.
There are also 9 votes. I did not vote, that makes 10. There are 7, maybe 8 if you include Max, active people on this forum. That's 3, or if Max voted, 2 unaccounted votes.
Also, matt20 has voted in two polls... but hasn't posted once. Interesting...
I DECLARE SHENANIGANS!
We must have a revote. The evidence against Drew is too strong. That or I will move for impeachment!

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
I discussed this with Drew before the polls closed and I agree that requirements for voting should be imposed, however Drew is recruiting new members and the rest of us are not. So his influence will spread, and legally.
But voting before posting, or voting after resigning due to lack of interest or activity, is upsetting.
I think we have to honor the votes this time and move add new requirements for eligible voting for next time. Nothing illegal was done so we have to deal with a bit of unfairness.

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
As I told Mr. Wachob, matt20 has been following the forum for sometime without joining. I acknowledge that he did join right before polls opened, but I also would like to note that he was going to join eventually. Will I deny that I put pressure on him to register before the election, no, because I did. I felt that his views should be put forth, and I must also note that he did in all seriousness consider both candidates for office. His votes in the Senate were based on his own views and not influenced by me.
On a final note, I applaud Mr. Epp for his counting abilities, but wonder why all the new members were recruited by me. I have been trying to expand this sim for months WITH NO HELP. I ran Congress WITH NO HELP from others when it came to passing bills. Do not argue that I did not have every right to recruit people just because I am the only one successful at it!

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
While I supported the retaining of the votes, I must disagree with Drew - we can't know what matt20 did or didn't consider before voting, and no amount of insistence from anybody will convince me either way. I do not know. I only can judge the circumstances of the vote, which makes me want to increase the requirements for voting in this sim.
Mr. Hanna's efforts to grow the sim are... good, I suppose... but just because others choose not to does not give him a moral high ground or superior status. He does have superior status, but that is because of his organizational role, not his recruiting one.

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
This is incorrect Max did vote, there was no one else that logged in. Rubin did not vote this is true, but Max did
Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
Max did not. I spoke with him about this less than a few hours ago.

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
Dohn is mistaken. Max voted. Look at the membership section, 10 people have logged in, 9 people voted, Epp did not vote. IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIUS TO FIGURE OUT WHO VOTED
Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
This isn't worth fighting over, like seriously. Does it matter who or who did not vote? It's just a freaking sim. It's not even real. I don't care whether I win or lose (well, mostly). I just think that I have other things that are worth getting frustrated over. This is not one of them.

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
Oh, and Max, are you going to mention the fact that Drew promised to throw all his "support" behind you in your bid for reelection. Which you somehow lost?

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
It is not my fault people did not vote for Max and have the same confidence I have in him. Oh and Dohn, I wouldn't be talking about reelection bid right now

YES!!!!!
Drew lied in an informal situation to get someone to back him? No...

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
And when I say that "this isn't worth fighting over," I don't mean that we should call each other liars or that I am going to back Drew because he wants me to. I mean it when I say it because it's what I think, not what anybody else is telling me to think. It's really stupid to get into such a tizz over something that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. The vote should stand as it is; Drew ran the better campaign, Drew won the vote, I lost fair and square, yes? That's all there is to it.

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
Voter fraud is the ultimate grand scheme of things. There is no Republic if the elections are not totally clean. We have to consider it.
Drew, you lied to Max by offering to vote for him in the runoff. You did not.

Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
I believe I have been called a liar, a cheater, and a whole host of other things for trying a bit too hard to get people on the forum. I don't even need to, I have just been doing it for months and months. Some people ended up staying, others fled, but the point is I did something
Re: I DEMAND A REVOTE
Hitler did something too. Chamberlain didn't. What kind of logic is that?

I'm so confused by your logic?
I am being accused of not being a good person because I gained the forum members, in essence

The way you phrased this post it sounded like you support any kind of action. I'm not pushing anything, but that's what it sounded like.
