Re: Favorite Shakespeare Play
I actually like Macbeth a lot.
And hate Romeo and Juliet with a passion. Not that the play was necessarily bad, but the theme is used too much nowadays.

Re: Favorite Shakespeare Play
I like Macbeth because it is such a good fate versus free will example. The reason I put down Hamlet, is because I believe that Hamlet better displays human themes
Re: Favorite Shakespeare Play
yea that's one of the many reasons I like it too. and it shows how people always have more than one side

Least favorite is probably All's Well that end's well. That and Coriolanus
Re: Favorite Shakespeare Play
Taming of the Shrew
Much Ado About Nothing
Comedy of Errors
Twelfth Night
The Tempest (brilliant show if you're going to SiDP anytime soon, the guys playing Caliban/Ferdinand were also quite good-looking which was a plus)
Macbeth
Romeo and Juliet
Still need to read: Hamlet, Midsummer, As You Like It, Othello (all on to-read list, along with the other plays I have never seen performed/read)

6/3? That's all of them?
Richard III (it has Al Pacino!)
Titus
King Lear (hilarious at SiDP)
Romeo and Juliet (but overused, as CM said)

Re: Favorite Shakespeare Play
She said Romeo and Juliet. And she just named like 10 plays she like and none she didn't. Which is why I asked if she just liked all of them.

Re: Favorite Shakespeare Play
But King Lear isn't supposed to be funny! It's a tragedy!!

Yeah, but it was really funny for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe it was the really anti-dramatic the guy who played Lear died or something.
