Ok, Alex Clifton's return to the Vice Presidency has created a vacancy in the Senate. If you want to run for that seat speak now. As soon as we have two candidates, we're starting. So act quickly, because we need a fourth senator

While I am running for this seat, I would like to introduce myself and political positions

I am a moderate-leaning progressive with an independent streak.

I support issues such as increased spending on education and public services while maintaining low taxes for the middle class

On business issues, I support maintaining low taxes for business and support job creation in this country, not supporting tax breaks for companies who ship jobs overseas

While enterprise is very important it is important to maintain and improve regulations to avoid fiscal and environmental disaster

I support tort reform and creating a national criminal court.

It is very important for women to have the right to choose without any restrictions and stem cell research

I support numerous programs to improve urban areas, encouraging private investment in revitalization and new urbanism designs, allowing mixed use mixed income areas.

It is important to maintain good diplomatic relations with other nations and use communication, rather than violence

Overall I believe in reaching consensus on difficult bills and will take disagreements on certain issues with stride.

It is important to maintain an open mind on each individual piece of legislation

I am abstaining from this vote on the basis that I believe Drew is just trying to manipulate himself into power and allow his legislation to be passed through the recruitment of many random people he vaguely knows.

I have known Trent for now almost 2 years

I agree that Drew is being a manipulative dick but if the Buffalo people recruited this wouldn't happen. I mean, how long is a sim with 6 people going to last? It's more fun with more people and only Drew is making any effort to increase our numbers.

I will allow a new election on that basis. I apologize for holding the elections as soon as I got two candidates. Since you both seem pissed and are both ex/soon to be ex Senators I will allow a revote with all four names on it. This is my final offer as we do not have the time to wait any longer.
