PART I: A Weekend at Wuthering Heights Empty PART I: A Weekend at Wuthering Heights

My roommate's love life is seriously like Wuthering Heights mixed with A Christmas Carol, Beauty and the Beast, and Pride and Prejudice. Except I pick Wuthering Heights because it has a less than happy ending.

I'm going to do this in parts because it is so rather stunning of a story and so powerful in places, and so utterly depressing in others.

DECEMBER 2008:
My roommate's car gets stuck in the snow, he is drunk. After a battle of words with the cop he vomits all over the back seat of the cop car. He is taken to Cook County Jail in downtown Chicago. He spends the night.

LAST SATURDAY NIGHT:
Alex on the phone: "I really want you to come, I still love you"

What do these things have in common. You'll have to wait until tomorrow, because I am tired. CLIFFHANGER!

Every time I hear/see that song (which I was expecting) I feel a mixture of anguish, pain, torment and sheer hystericalness/hilarity. Really, Kate Bush, really? That's what Heathcliff makes you think of?
