Many people reported feeling drowsy, increased irritability, and hallucinations...
This is the drug the campus neurologist prescribed for me and mainly the COMMON side effects are scaring me shitless:
Common:
Drowsiness
Interference with cognitive and motor performance
Irritability and aggression
Psychomotor agitation
Lack of motivation
Loss of libido
Impaired motor function
Impaired coordination
Impaired balance
Dizziness
Diarrhea
Cognitive impairments
Hallucinations
Short-term memory loss
Anterograde amnesia (common with higher doses)
Some users report hangover-like symptoms of being drowsy, having a headache, being sluggish, and being irritable after waking up if the medication is taken before sleep. This is likely the result of the medication's long half-life, which continues to affect the user after waking up. While benzodiazepines induce sleep, they tend to produce a poorer quality of sleep than natural sleep. Benzodiazepines such as clonazepam suppress REM deep sleep. After regular use rebound insomnia can occur when discontinuing clonazepam.
Benzodiazepines can cause or worsen depression
Occasional:
Serious dysphoria
Thrombocytopenia
Serious psychological and psychiatric side-effects
Induction of seizures or increased frequency of seizures
Personality changes
Behavioural disturbances
Confusion
Ataxia
Rare:
Psychosis
Incontinence
Liver damage
Paradoxical behavioural disinhibition (most frequently in children, the elderly, and in persons with developmental disabilities)
Rage
Excitement
Impulsivity
Worsening of seizures
Long term effects:
The long term effects of clonazepam can include; depression, disinhibition and sexual dysfunction. Long-term use of benzodiazepines are also associated with cognitive impairments which persist for at least 6 months and may be permanent. Benzodiazepines may cause or worsen depression.

D: WHAT THE FUCK, DOCTOR ROBERT?
I read a George Will column a few months ago about how good drugs like this one must be to have side effects like this. If it makes you worse than before (depression---->suicidal thoughts), then what's the point?
