Re: A National Address
We are back in action. This first year had some major obstacles, and passing even just two bills can be considered accomplishment. But we still have a lot to do.
Health Care reform is again the most important challenge we face, and I hope to see a bill for public option come across my desk soon. Tort reform is needed also, and can be included within the reform bill or as a separate proposal entirely.
I also hope to see the legalization of mild drugs like marijuana and a scale back on the failed "War on Drugs" campaign that has wasted money for so long.
Environmental Protection bills and corporate tax incentives for conservation remain a goal of my administration as well.
I also encourage every Congressman or woman, and every Senator to write their own bills. I have my goals and my priorities, but you don't need to simply react to me. You can push your own ideas forward as well.

Re: A National Address
I'm told there are several bills being worked on in Congress at the moment, which is good news. But this year we have passed not one single bill, which is unacceptable. Please try to get these done as quickly as possible so laws can be passed before elections.

Okay, everyone in the Senate has voted. There are currently NO BILLS on the Senate floor, all bills are on the House floor. YOU HAVE ABOUT 27 HOURS
Re: A National Address
Greetings America. I would like to begin my new term as President by setting an agenda for this year. As goals are checked off I will add some more, but here are my priorities for this year.
-Completion of the treaty from World War III
-A reduction in business taxes
-A reduction to the capital gains tax
-An actual attempt at a budget
-An end to caucuses
-An increase in the use of alternative energy sources, preference to nuclear
Thank you, and I look forward to a wonderful term.
Sincerely,
Andrew C. Hanna
President of the United States
