US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION YEAR 8

I have a midterm tomorrow morning so in order to maximize voting time, voting starts NOW!

I think right about now would be a good time to concede. Congratulations President Hanna!

Thank you Vice President Clifton, I am honored by this gracious election by the US people. Senator Sheldon and I cannot thank you all enough. Together America, we will take this nation forward. I would like at this time to announce that I am fully supporting Vice President Clifton for a seat in the US Senate to take up the vacancies that are to be left by Senator Sheldon and myself. Once again, thank you and God Bless America!

I find it interesting that the new member, matt20, last logged on at 8:49 yesterday... exactly 45 minutes after this topic was made.

There are also 9 votes. I did not vote, that makes 10. There are 7, maybe 8 if you include Max, active people on this forum. That's 3, or if Max voted, 2 unaccounted votes.

Also, matt20 has voted in two polls... but hasn't posted once. Interesting...

So if we excluded the inactives (not including Max) it's a slim one vote win that Epp could've forced into a tie. If we remove the inactives including Max then Alex would have won.

Drew asked I'm sure. And watched the thread while watching the "who was online" thing.

Holding office at one time? That's the requirement? Meaning that, in the future, or in the past for a tiny amount of time, it's all good? Epp and Dohn have legitimate problems, to get frustrated and just call them whiners and liars undermines this significant issue that we need to discuss.

First of all someone is going to be unemployed post all this, should they not get a vote? Everyone is a citizen if they have participated, if they chose to not run for office is not my concern.

It should be. There is no "citizen" role in this sim unless we formally decide there is. Those with an intent to hold office, demonstrated by RUNNING FOR OFFICE, should get to vote.

The past government sims speak differently. Regardless, this argument is settled
