Presidential Election of Year 4 DEBATE!
Friday's questions. Please answer these as quickly as possible so we can get rebuttals:
1.) What are your overall goals for the next four years should you be elected?
2.) Why do you feel you are a better candidate then your opponent?
Essentially:
Lustig- Why would you be a better President than President Wachob?
Wachob- Why should you continue being President? What do you still have to offer?
3.) As you may or may not know, every day, random numbers corresponding to foreign events are drawn. So far, the country has been very fortunate not to receive any events of note. How you will your administrations prepare for foreign affairs?
Please answer your questions briefly and promptly. I want answers soon and I don't want to have to scroll down to see what you wrote.

Re: Presidential Election of Year 4 DEBATE!
1.) I think the accomplishment of the goals set for my first term represent an end to our most immediate concerns. Next is political culture – we are not in the Cold War anymore and cannot act like it. We cannot be economically and militarily invested in conflicts throughout the globe, and we cannot label other ideas as evil without examining them. I want to see traditional checks and balances restored, with each branch independently capable of guiding itself. States should assume more responsibility and power over themselves, as the national government is weakened by lobbyists, endless campaigns, and the perpetual focus on the global community. Also, the military-industrial complex should be recognized and defeated, and we should not define our strength by our military might.
2.) Seeing as my goals for the future have just been outlined, the only way to answer this question is by talking about efficiency, rather than ideology. I have signed or vetoed every bill to appear on my desk in less than a day, have given Congress regular updates on my plans, as well as bring cases to the Supreme Court. It has been a daily investment of time, which my opponent cannot claim. The Lustig/Dohn ticket has been in Congress for the almost 4 years now, and they have, combined, authored exactly one bill. Is that efficient? Is that the work ethic and foresight or a leader for the whole of the nation? If you want the President to be a person who has proven their commitment to public policy, isn’t the choice obvious?
3.) The blanket term “foreign affairs” is so vague, it’s hard to answer. If we are struck militarily, we will strike back. But we are not a policing force in this world, and will not intervene in matters that do not affect our citizens or closest allies. If a natural disaster occurs, we will supply what aid we can, and work with our neighbors to provide for common welfare. But we will look to focus on America within America first, as I have throughout my first term.
