The 32nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America

1. The position of Vice President of the United States shall be disbanded with the Head of the Senate, now titled Vice President of the United States (but assuming no executive powers) taking lead as the first in the presidential line of succession.
2. The power of impeachment shall be given to the Vice President of the United States, formally known as the Head of the Senate, but the Vice President shall not vote in regards to conviction.
3. A fifth United States Senate seat shall be created.
4. Impeachment will remain at 3/4th vote.
5. The powers previously delegated to the Head of the Senate shall remain and be transferred to the new Vice President of the United States; however, the power to call for a vote of impeachment shall no longer require the request of a more junior senator.

Well let us look at like this. This amendment is the solution to all of our problems regarding the Vice Presidency. NO ONE: repeat NO ONE wants it, in fact, the sim worked just as well without the VP. If we pass this amendment we are not throwing a wrench in the system, we are taking out the wrench we placed when we got rid of the House. So therefore, Dohn, your vote on the basis of the proposing Senator is complete bs and I simply have lost all of the respect I had for you in this sim (and contrary to popular belief I, unlike you, have voted moderately approve in your approval ratings).

So back to why people should support this:
-We won't have to force someone to take the VP spot on the ticket so we can actually have Presidential elections of consequence
-The gray area of how to impeach the Vice President is removed and the power to impeach returns to the legislative branch entirely

Finally, as a sign of good will, I have concluded that I resign as Congressional Clerk and give the post to Ryan N. Dohn on the condition that if this amendment passes he highly considers running for the new Senate seat.
