OCD vs. Indifference (or Roommates, Shots, and other things that come in threes)
So my dorm room is basically really weird looking. On one side is my OCD perfectly arranged desk and made bed with trash in the trash can and recyclables in the recycle bin. On the other side is a total mess with stuff just flung all over the place and cans, wrappers, etc. not thrown out. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's a friggen nightmare. All my roommate does is play video games, eats, works out, plays video games, gets drunk at a frat party, has hangover in the morning, and does it all over again. Not to mention he doesn't actually turn the TV off, or the lights, doesn't recycle, doesn't throw things away in general. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

My friend never sees her roommate because she's rushing (the roommate, not my friend). My roommate is very nice and we're both keeping quite tidy.

Drew you really expected to have a neat roommate? The possibility of two neat guys going to the same college is about 1/1000, not to mention being roomies.

I second what Luke said. The possibility of two neat girls going to college though is a lot bigger than that. So maybe you've just got to sniff out the clean freaks?

My roommate and I don't hang out but he's nice enough. You can't expect much from them. As long as they don't use your space or stuff without asking or sell drugs from your room it's all good.

Like Matt Rainstein's roomate? He sold pot and the cops busted into their dorm one day. xD

YAY for me, my choosing of early classes has allowed me to OWN! One more class at 2 (Sociology) and then I have the whole rest of the day off!
Re: OCD vs. Indifference (or Roommates, Shots, and other things that come in threes)
Celebrate your early classes in a few weeks when the excitement and tension wears off. Nothing like a mid-October monday morning at 8 AM studying African history, is there?
My classes are generally later in the day, went to Physics at 11 and going to Calc II at 2-30.

Oh I had three classes today, all an hour long, at 9, 11, and 1. World Lit, Enjoyment of Theatre and Astronomy. And now I AM FREE. Freer even than you, Drew. And tomorrow, I go for three classes from 8:30 to 12:15. (And after October, I won't even have to start at 8:30. It's super exciting.)

Re: OCD vs. Indifference (or Roommates, Shots, and other things that come in threes)
Want another thing to worry about regarding me. I spent my whole evening working on an ungraded, uncollected, half-page, speech outline that was a "test". And what was it over? A citation! I wasted four hours over a citation all because I couldn't find the work of Goethe that it was from.

Was this the same one that Matt didn't know was having sex with his girlfriend while Matt was in the room without noticing them?

Re: OCD vs. Indifference (or Roommates, Shots, and other things that come in threes)
lolz that was a really funny non-sequiteur.
In my English class I was the only one who had taken the professor's advice on reading with questions in mind. Out of about fifty people. I have around ten freakin' pages of notes on the beginnings of the Romantic period and about a million poems by William Blake. And 75% of those poems are super depressing. Blake was mental, my friends, MENTAL.
My roommate is very nice and she doesn't go around having sex with people, nor does she do drugs, nor does she drink. Then again, it might be because I'm in the "nerdy Honours dorm" lolz. Actually, none of my friends are awful... not even any of the Speed students (engineering students)... hahaha
